Huesos de los
Muertos…on a side journey away from Lima we discovered a cathedral with
catacombs underground, typical of certain old societies that wanted to minimize
the amount of space the dead took up. After a few decades or so, bodies were exhumed
and their skeletons stored in more space efficient tombs so that new bodies
could take their places in the ground. Gozie’s phone fell into a pile of bones
so we think she may be haunted…Only time will tell. I personally thought the
bone structures were pretty cool. I would have stolen a bone if I could, but on
second thought, I don’t want a Tales From the Krypt kind of episode to happen
to me. We sneaked a few photos so here is a glimpse:
